The Future of Ruins examines the evolution of cultural mythology. Emerging from the fragmented remains of a classical figure, a universally recognizable contemporary icon occupies the space once reserved for gods, heroes, and ideals.

The work reflects on the ways societies construct and replace their symbols of meaning. What once belonged to religion, mythology, and monumentality increasingly finds expression through the imagery of mass culture. Neither nostalgic nor critical, the sculpture presents this transition as an ongoing process, inviting reflection on what future generations may inherit as the ruins and mythology of our present.
